Our client, an educational technology company, located in Nashua NH, is on the search for a project manager. This is a temporary position with a contract through January, and there is a potential for permanent hire. This will be a full-time opportunity, with hours consisting of 40 hours per week, 9am - 5pm, Mondays - Fridays, can be remote , but candidates must be close to Greater Boston/Merrimack valley/Southern NH. This position can pay between $30-35/hr.
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Temporary Project Manager to oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of various strategic projects managed by our Transformation Office. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the project is completed within the given timeframe, scope, and budget. The project manager will work closely with the project team, stakeholders, and clients to ensure the project goals are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute project plans and timelines
- Manage project scope, risks, and issues
- Monitor project progress and report on project status to stakeholders
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and budgets
- Coordinate project resources, including team members, contractors, and vendors
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and client requirements
- Facilitate project meetings and manage project communication
- Identify and resolve project-related conflicts and issues
- Ensure compliance with project management methodology and best practices
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the technology industry
- Proven experience managing complex projects from start to finish
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Knowledge of project management software and tools
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- PMP certification is a plus
