Our client, a well-known retail manufacturing company, is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join their growing team in Philadelphia, PA. This role requires excellent attention to detail, organizational skills are a must!
About You:
- Associate's degree required
- 2+ years of relevant experience in a payroll processing
- Strong detail orientation and time management skills
- Working knowledge of payroll local and federal bylaws and guidelines
- Outstanding interpersonal skills
- Highly proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, Paylocity experience is a plus
Day to Day:
- Consistently prepare paychecks to ensure that employees are paid on time and in the correct amount
- Maintain accurate records of payroll documentation and transactions
- Prepare and execute taxes and payment of employee benefits
- Process and monitor garnishment orders
- Authorize new hire data from HRIS system
