Our client, a lobbying association, is seeking a direct hire Senior Director of Business Development to support their membership team in Washington, DC!
About You:
- 7+ years of experience in a political fundraising or membership recruitment role.
- A bachelor's degree is required for this role. Master's degree is strongly preferred.
- Must be able to work within political infrastructure, specifically the DC political landscape.
- Excellent oral and written communication, networking, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work closely with C-Suite leaders and other high-level individuals.
The Job:
- Handle membership strategy and manage full sales lifecycle.
- Build and maintain relationships with members.
- Identify new targets and increase revenue opportunities.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current policy and engage with advocacy efforts.
- Additional tasks as assigned.
