Our client, a trade association, is seeking a direct-hire Policy & Regulatory Affairs Manager to join their Government Affairs team in Arlington, VA!
Responsibilities:
- Track, review, and analyze proposed/finalized regulatory issues that could affect members.
- Conduct research and prepare reports and communications for members or government agencies.
- Coordinate meetings for internal executives and association members on Capitol Hill; prepare agendas and meeting materials and take notes.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders on a daily basis.
- Provide additional support on special projects related to regulatory affairs and how they support the membership base.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of government affairs experience and a bachelor's degree are required; experience with environmental or energy policy is preferred.
- Tech savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office and research platforms.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work 100% on-site in the Arlington, VA office.
Compensation/Benefits:
- $85K-$90K, depending on experience.
