Our client is a highly successful and established private equity real estate firm seeking a new Front Desk Coordinator. The Front Desk Coordinator provides support to the Chicago office and the ideal candidate will thrive in a fast paced, supportive, team-oriented environment. This person will ideally have relevant administrative experience, excellent organizational skills, be team focused and have the ability to work professionally and efficiently. This role offers growth potential into higher level administrative roles within the firm.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for the office by greeting and directing visitors, and answering phones, including screening calls and directing them to the appropriate person
- Manage conference room calendars and coordinate set-up for meetings, including placing catering orders and registering visitors
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the reception area, kitchens, conference rooms, and general storage areas
- Responsible for mail/package coordination and delivery
- Manage relationships with vendors and handle office supply management
- Handle ad-hoc projects as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred by not required
- At least 1+ year of relevant administrative in a corporate or academic setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and punctual
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to be teachable, approachable, and maintain a professional appearance
