Our client, a non-profit global research organization located in Washington, DC, has an immediate need for a temporary hybrid Communications and Engagement Specialist to support one of their teams!
About You:
- 2+ years of communications experience; association/non-profit experience is ideal.
- A bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, or a relevant field is required; Master's degree is preferred.
- Experience writing/editing communication campaigns/content, newsletters, social media content, and feature style articles.
- Experience with databases, CMS, and client relations systems preferred.
- Ability to work a hybrid schedule on-site at the Washington, DC location.
The Job:
- Handle strategic communications and lead the implementation of said strategies.
- Develop and implement written and social media materials.
- Curate resources and assist team with setting up various platforms.
- Adapt to rapidly changing priorities while working independently and collaboratively.
- Complete additional tasks to contribute to community engagement efforts.
