Our client, a global law firm, is looking for a new Conference Center Manager to lead their conference center team. They are looking for a strong leader who will act as the primary point of contact for vendors, clients, and staff members.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize automated booking system for meetings and special events
- Oversee training of conference center staff
- Coordinate event scheduling of rooms, food, IT equipment, and rentals
- Attend and oversee events as necessary
- Supervise and schedule daily activities for direct reports
- Conduct site visits and tours for clients and guests of conference center
- Assist with catering budget and review other bills and processes as needed
- Other related duties as assigned
About You:
- 5+ years of experience in meeting booking, office services, event management or related fields
- 2+ years experience supervising a team with direct reports
- Experience with automated booking systems
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Strong organization and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
