Our client is a reputable university based in Waltham, MA seeking an Administrative Assistant. This individual would support the Executive Director of their National Committee and other team members with various programming, communication, membership-related, and other general administrative tasks and activities. This role pays 23/hr and comprises a Monday-Friday 9am-5pm schedule, slated to go 3 months with opportunity to extend.
Job Description:
This position requires excellent writing and verbal communications skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and competing requests. Strong follow-through is essential as is meticulous attention to detail.
- Administrative and project support: Assist with the preparation of conferences and board meetings. Works on contracts, proposals, and other high-level administrative tasks under the supervision of the ED. Assists with scheduling of prospect and chapter visits, coordination of travel details for the University on Wheels education program, and post travel expense reports.
- Data entry: Manages and enters information into donor database including actions, donations and information.
- Customer Service: Supports and collaborates with volunteers, National Committee board members, and IA staff and constituents across the country to further the National Committee mission.
- Communication: Drafts gift acknowledgements, stewardship communications, correspondence and assists with management of solicitation mailings. Assists with identifying and supporting the cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of donors to include proposal development and assembling supporting
Required skills:
