Our client, a well-known hospital in Philadelphia, is seeking a Patient Interviewer to join their team in Center City Philadelphia! The ideal individual will be incredibly detail oriented and familiar with insurance and billing.
About You:
- 1+ year of experience working as an insurance specialist or hospital pre-certification/utilization
- Bachelor's degree is preferred
- Experience using EPIC Insurance Systems is required
- Ability to multi-task and excel in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Day to Day:
- Confirming billing requirements and pre-certification/authorization from all necessary parties
- Verifying all financial, insurance, and patient information
- Answering incoming inquiries regarding insurance and billing
- Entering and updating patient information as needed
This contract position is offering up to $20/hour depending on experience and is slated to last at least 3 months.
