Our client, a non-profit organization located in Alexandria, VA, is seeking a temporary-to-hire Communications Specialist to support their team!
About You:
- 1+ years of marketing and communications experience is preferred; a focus on editing and content creation is a plus.
- A bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
- Experience writing/editing communication campaigns/content, newsletters, social media content, and feature style articles.
- Familiarity with CMS, Google Analytics, Word Doc, and MS Office.
- Proficiency in InDesign required.
- Ability to work a 100% on-site at the Alexandria, VA location.
The Job:
- Format magazine using various design platforms.
- Develop and implement marketing campaigns in various mediums.
- Review and analyze marketing metrics.
- Finalize all materials and ensure quality through editing and proofreading.
- Complete additional tasks to contribute to engagement efforts.
