Our client, an association in DC, is seeking a temporary-to-hire Member Services Representative to join their team!
Responsibilities:
- Handle all member requests via phone, email, and website while providing superior customer service.
- Handle document filing/management and activity reports.
- Maintain knowledge of association activities while ensuring members and guests are recieved promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate across departments on membership activities and special projects.
- Serve as point of contact for security, visitors, and emergency response plan.
- Other administrative tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in a membership organization is required.
- A bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills with strong problem-solving, writing, editing, and math skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite and knowledge of membership databases required.
- Ability to travel up to 4 weeks per year.
Position Information:
- Up to $22/hr while temporary
- Up to $53K when permanent
- Hours are 9:00am-5:00pm
- 100% on-site in Washington, DC.
