Our client, an online print and digital solutions site for language education based in Boston, is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join their team! This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, and is hybrid onsite Tuesday and Thursday in Boston, and remote Monday Wednesday and Friday. This role is paying $20/hour, and they are looking for someone to start at the end of November. Interested and qualified candidates are encouraged to apply today!
The Customer Support Specialist is responsible for providing best-in-class front-line assistance to customers throughout their ordering journey with the company. This ranges from helping customers with general upfront product and order processing questions to processing customer orders and returns to handling daily customer contacts regarding order status, issues, or troubleshooting needs. The CS Specialist maintains close oversight over daily tasks and longer-term projects and can balance both effectively and reliably. In addition, they serve as the central point of contact for all things related to customer orders, including supporting and working with other internal stakeholders such as Sales and Marketing, Accounting and Finance, Operations and Warehouse, and Technology
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage customer (including bookstore, school, and/or student) inquiries and needs via phone, email, and/or live chat.
- Process customer purchase orders and returns in accordance with year-round business cycles.
- Effectively respond to and resolve customer inquiries as efficiently as possible, while consistently maintaining a 'customer-first' mindset as a front-line representative of VHL and department KPI's
- Accurately maintain, monitor, and update VHL's internal databases and processing systems related to order processing.
- Coordinate internal requests as the primary point of contact related to customer inquiries and ordering.
MINIMUM SKILLS/EXPERIENCE + EDUCATION (MUST HAVES):
- Experience with higher volume/fast paced environments.
- 2-3 year's customer service/call center type experience; (not retail settings)
- Excellent communication skills
