Our client, a non-profit organization, is seeking a bright direct hire Human Resources Manager to join their corporate team. This role will play an integral role in the day-to-day operations of the company by providing top-notch human resources knowledge and skill.
About You:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields required
- 5+ years of experience in a Human Resources role
- Experince in non-profit sector highly preferred
- Proven experience with benefits administration and payroll processing
- Knowledge of federal and state laws, regulations, and employee policies
- Professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive and confidential employee information
- A mature business leader who can collaborate with C-level executives
- Incredible problem-solving skills and analytical ability to work through complex issues and data
- Advanced knowledge and experience working within a HRIS system or ATS
- Experience spearheading HR initiatives and leading projects through completion
Day to Day:
- Interface with employees at all levels and act as the main point of contact for all human resources related functions
- Ensure compliance and adherence to company policies and procedures, particularly ensuring non-profit guidelines and legalities are in order
- Oversee employee relations including completing and properly documenting investigations, grievances, escalations, and any additional issues
- Work with an open-door policy and serve as a trusted resource to employees
- Administer onboarding and new hire orientation, facilitate trainings on company policies and procedures as needed
- Assist with benefits administration and programs including 401(k), 457(b), 125, 127 plans, explaining benefit offerings, liaising with 3rd party vendors, and assisting with open enrollment
- Utilize the HRIS to pull and prepare reports, analyze reports to provide key metrics influencing business and HR strategy
- Audit payroll process and review deductions and totals
