My client, a non-profit organization focused on gun violence is seeking to hire a detailed-oriented and organized individual to join their team as a Temporary Donor Growth & Experience Assistant. The successful candidate will provide critical support to the fundraising efforts through administrative tasks & projects, helping conduct donor and vendor research, and by helping to prepare relevant reports for various members of the team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference and contributing to the success of a dynamic organization. This role will start the last week of February/first week of March at the latest. It will for 3 - 4 months from the start date. They do work a hybrid schedule. Monday - Wednesday in office and Thursday and Friday from home.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the calendar for the Managing Director
  • Assist with inputting contracts and invoices into the organization's central database
  • Assist team members in conducting research on potential donors (midlevel, sustainers, prospects) for prospecting, retention, upgrading purposes
  • Assist team members to analyze data and prepare reports on fundraising trends, donor engagement, and campaign results
  • Research and implement innovative fundraising tactics -- e.g. artificial intelligence, virtual events, etc.
  • Provide administrative support for special projects -- e.g. canvassing, planned giving
  • Provide administrative assistance to the Project Manager when needed
  • Perform other related duties as required

Requirements:

  • 1 + years of experience in nonprofit fundraising or a related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft and Google Office Suites
  • Strong research and analysis skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Passion for the organization's mission and a desire to contribute to its success
  • Experience with donor management software a plus

Compensation:

  • 24hr - 26hr DOE
