Our client a prestigious Hedge Fund in Hudson Yards is looking to hire TTP Reception and Hospitality Team Manager. This hire is vital to the overall success of how the front desk operates. This role does require someone in office Monday - Friday. Hours can range between 8am - 6pm depending on the day. You will manage roughly 7 people to start.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the receptionist team, ensuring excellent customer service to clients and employees.
  • Oversee the reception area's appearance and maintain a welcoming environment for visitors.
  • Handle escalated customer inquiries and complaints to maintain a positive customer experience.
  • Manage receptionist schedules, including assigning shifts and coordinating coverage for PTO and sick days.
  • Hospitality Coordinators support our client and amenity spaces by providing conference room setup services,
  • stock checks, supplies replenishments, catering coordination support, as well as facility inspections throughout
  • all spaces. Coordinators work in closely with Reception, Food Services and Events team to ensure a best-in-class experience for our end users and guests.
  • Oversee hospitality coordinator team, ensuring excellent customer service to clients and employees.
  • Ensure the reception and hospitality coordination teams are aligned and functioning as one efficient team.
  • Handle escalated customer inquiries and complaints to maintain a positive customer experience.
  • Manage team schedules, including assigning shifts and coordinating coverage for PTO and sick days.
  • Conduct training sessions for new employees on their job responsibilities, and act as an escalation point of
  • contact for staffing issues.
  • Provide ongoing support to employees regarding payroll and timekeeping inquiries.
  • Handle employee requests and concerns related to benefits, paid time off, and other HR-related matters.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality, Business Administration, or related field, a plus.
  • 5 + years of experience in a reception, hospitality, or facilities management role.
  • Proven experience managing a team, with excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Compensation:

  • 120K - 130K DOE + Benefits + Discretionary Bonus
