Our client, a biotech company located in Boston is seeking a dedicated Corporate Travel Manager to join the team. This role is onsite for the next 6+ months from 8:30am-5:00pm and pays 35/hr.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with various departments including Finance, Legal, Training, HR, global admins, and external vendors.
  • Managing the insurance program by coordinating with legal for education, messaging, and emergency contact procedures.
  • Contracting and managing Travel Plus services, including monthly meetings to review spend, services, and issues.
  • Overseeing the travel program, including review, implementation, and management.
  • Reclaiming funds from unused tickets.
  • Conducting monthly meetings with travel vendors.
  • Negotiating and executing yearly contract renewals, primarily with hotels.
  • Writing, enforcing, auditing, and educating on Travel & Expense policies.
  • Developing and delivering training materials and sessions.
  • Handling Concur system functionality and issues, including creating profiles for new employees.
  • Undertaking additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

Education, Experience, and Qualifications:

  • A college degree or equivalent experience is required.
  • 5+ years of experience in a corporate travel management role.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in a travel management role.
  • Strong international travel management skills.
  • Background in a Corporate Onsite Travel Office.
  • Exceptional customer service and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize projects effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness and availability to work extended hours as needed.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
