Our client, a busy labor union organization, is actively seeking a part-time Office Assistant to support their day-to-day operations. This position will be on-site at the organization's Sicklerville office, with a set schedule of a four-day work week, 9 AM - 3 PM. The ideal candidate is a dependable, organized professional who is actively seeking a part-time position.

About You:

  • 1+ year of experience in a general office assistant position (internships count!)
  • Strong organizational skills with an emphasis on attention to detail
  • Resourceful worker who can excel independently when needed
  • Willingness to go above and beyond to help colleagues and clients
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

The Job:

  • Provide customer service by routinely answering incoming calls, taking messages, and answering questions as needed
  • Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail office-wide
  • Assist in filing and organizing documentation, paperwork, and electronic files
  • Perform data entry
  • Assist with additional administrative projects as directed

This contract-to-hire position pays up to $21/hour during the contract period and up to $22/hour if hired permanently. The part-time schedule totals 24 hours a week.
