Our client, a professional association is seeking temporary to hire Events and Sponsorship Operations Manager to join their team in Alexandria, VA! If you have a bachelor's degree and 3+ years of exhibit operations experience, apply now!

About the Job:

  • Manage exhibit hall operations for vendors, exhibitors, and key stakeholders at Education & Training events.
  • Collaborate to develop sponsorship opportunities and fulfill sponsorship deliverables.
  • Evaluate, contract, and manage vendors for exhibition services, including security and first aid, ensuring onsite performance.
  • Develop and maintain expense budgets for conference exhibition operations and support sponsorship budgets for Education & Training events.
  • Administer and update the mobile app, online planner, and exhibition operations web content for assigned events.
  • Facilitate the design, development, and onsite operations of specialty pavilion floorplans, coordinating logistics and communication with sponsors and exhibitors.

About You:

  • 3+ years of experience in exhibit operations is required.
  • A bachelor's degree in event management or other related field is required.
  • Strong MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and CMS skills are required.
  • Strong interpersonal, facilitation, and customer service skills, along with excellent project management abilities.
  • Able to stand or walk for long periods of time while onsite.
  • Able to travel up to 15% of the time.

About the Position:

  • $26/hr-$31/hr while temporary
  • $65K-$70K when permanent
  • Temporary to permanent position.
  • 5-hour work week!
  • Hybrid flexible schedule!
  • Office in Alexandria, VA.
