Job Description:

The Leasing Administrator plays a crucial role in supporting the leasing and management operations of our apartment community. This position requires a professional who can provide excellent customer service to prospective and current residents, handle administrative tasks efficiently, and support the property management team in achieving occupancy and resident satisfaction goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Leasing Support:

Assist in the leasing process by responding to inquiries from prospective residents via phone, email, and in-person.
Schedule and conduct property tours, showcasing available units and amenities.
Process rental applications, perform background checks, and verify references.
Prepare and manage lease agreements and related documentation.
Ensure all leasing paperwork is complete and accurate.

Customer Service:

Provide exceptional customer service to current and prospective residents.
Address resident concerns and maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
Assist residents with move-in and move-out processes.
Maintain positive resident relations by organizing community events and activities.

Administrative Duties:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident records and files.
Handle office tasks such as filing, data entry, and answering phones.
Assist with rent collection and processing.
Prepare regular reports on leasing activity, occupancy rates, and other relevant metrics.
Manage and update property listings on various platforms and websites.

Property Management Support:

Collaborate with the property management team to achieve occupancy and revenue goals.
Assist in coordinating maintenance and repair requests with the maintenance team.
Ensure the leasing office and model units are clean, organized, and well-maintained.
Conduct market research to stay informed about local rental trends and competitor properties.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
Previous experience in leasing, property management, or real estate is a plus.
Strong customer service skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and property management software.
