Interior Design firm located in Midtown, Manhattan is seeking to hire a Temporary Office & Showroom Manager to support the office. This position will start ASAP, require 5 days in office. Hours 9:00am-6:00pm, availability for OT as needed. Must be able to commit for up to 3 months with this assignment with flex to extend.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate schedules for Principal & Design Director and manage full company schedule
  • Assist Principal in personal scheduling, appointments, and affairs
  • Responsible for office organization, upkeep, and equipment maintenance
  • Interface with our high-profile clientele and their teams
  • Handle all travel arrangements for Principal and Design Director
  • Schedule vendor presentations and company events
  • Assist Principal & Designers with occasional sourcing and project support
  • Assist with coordinating special events in the showroom

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years experience as receptionist and/or customer service. Design or home showroom experience a plus.
  • Fluency in Google Suite, Apple IT
  • Experience with Studio Designer a plus but not required
  • Extremely organized with excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Strong multi-tasker and problem solver with flexibility and resilience
  • Professional demeanor and groomed appearance
  • Interest in interiors, furniture, & textiles

Compensation/Benefits:

  • Hourly up to $25/hr
