Our client, a research advisory company in Cambridge, MA, is seeking a Corporate Services Associate to join their team. This is a temporary opportunity can compensate up to $21/hr. depending on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Answer and appropriately route calls that come into the switchboard.
  • Greet employees, visitors, clients, and vendors to the office.
  • Monitor and control access gates in the lobby. Confirm employment before letting individuals through the gates.
  • Maintain security logs with all visitors' and incoming employee information.
  • Validate parking tickets and maintain log.
  • Maintain neat and presentable lobby area, including coffee/tea/water station for clients, accessible client meeting rooms, lobby plants.
  • Employee services: Monitor and support Corporate Services requests from submittal to close, promptly and with strong communication.
  • Participate in shipping and mail services team responsibilities both incoming and outgoing.
  • Vendor liason: Oversee vendor maintenance, upgrades, inventory, and procurement as needed.
  • Office environment: Maintain a functional office environment, including conference room readiness, office supply cabinets stock, printer supply stock, and coffee equipment maintenance.
  • Team support: Provide backup and/or support to Corporate Services team initiatives.

Qualifications

  • One to two years office front desk and/or customer service experience (a plus.)
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Someone who can lift up to 50 lbs., as position will be required to move packages and arrange furniture.
  • Excellent professional customer services skills, including writing and verbal communication.
