Beacon Hill has partnered with a reputable healthcare institution to find a temporary part-time Donor Relations Assistant. This role ensures the accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality of the fundraising database, including data entry, query and report generation, technology management, and end-user support. This is a great opportunity to work in Downtown Chicago in the healthcare industry.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all inquiries and directing them to the appropriate staff member.
• Handle gift entry in collaboration with the Accounting Coordinator and manage the daily operations of the companys database
• Assist the Vice President with donor interactions, including recording donor call notes, creating customized queries, reports, and prospect lists, and establishing new record parameters.
• Collaborate with the Vice President to provide training and technical support to other staff on the database system.
• Prepare gift acknowledgements based on templates provided
• Work with the Major Gifts Manager to track the status of new, active, and lapsed pledges, including sending reminder notices according to pledge agreements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Vice President.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years' of work experience in an administrative role or comparable setting
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proven organizational skills, attention to detail, and multi-tasking abilities
• Strong computer literacy in MS programs
