Our client, a leading founding in education research, is looking for a Program Administrator to work closely with the foundation's grants administration team. This person will oversee daily operations related to research grant management, including processing proposals and approved grants. This role improves grant policies, collaborates with Program Staff, Finance, and Leadership, and ensures efficient administration of grant applications and reviews.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage grant administration tasks, such as scheduling deadlines and coordinating review cycles.
  • Review proposals, obtain necessary information from investigators, and handle award and budget details.
  • Update organizational and contact information in the grants database.
  • Address grant inquiries from applicants quickly and effectively.
  • Distribute proposals, organize review meetings, and prepare decision-making materials.
  • Process honorarium payments for reviewers and ensure payment accuracy with the Finance team.
  • Prepare correspondence related to grant awards and declinations.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • At least 4 years of administrative experience, in program management or grants administration.
  • Experience within higher education or a non profit preferred.
  • Experience with database management and SmartSimple Grants Management System is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office is required.
