Join our client as the Director of Development and take the lead in shaping direct response strategies across multiple channels. About the Job:
- Lead direct response strategy across various channels including direct mail, digital fundraising, and SMS fundraising.
- Develop and execute fundraising revenue and retention strategies to enhance donor engagement.
- Promote development as a form of activism, communication, and education by integrating donors, volunteers, and advocates into awareness-building strategies.
- Collaborate across departments to ensure consistent messaging and creative integration across all communication channels.
- Utilize database reporting to assess donor diversity and identify opportunities for engaging new audiences.
- Research, implement, and monitor contemporary fundraising techniques and trends to attract donors and encourage planned giving opportunities, utilizing multi-channel direct response fundraising campaigns.
About You:
- 5+ years of proven fundraising experience is required; A bachelor's degree is required.
- Proficiency in prospecting, securing, and cultivating donors and members to ensure an effective engagement journey.
- Experience in cultivating and managing governmental relationships for grant awards, as well as overseeing departmental budgets and recommending adjustments as needed.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
About the Position:
- $95K-$100K salary (DOE).
