Our client, a well-known educational institution in Philadelphia, is looking for their next Temporary Office Administrative Assistant to join their team! The Administrative Assistant will provide comprehensive support to the departments within the institution, ensuring smooth and efficient operation of administrative functions. This role involves managing records, handling communication, and assisting with various forms and requests.

About You:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or higher in Business Administration or a related field preferred.
  • Experience in an administrative support role, preferably in an academic or similar environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with office equipment such as fax machines, copiers, and phone systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional demeanor and the ability to handle confidential information.
  • Experience with scheduling and appointment management, including coordinating meetings and handling calendar adjustments.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating attention to detail and accuracy.

About the Job:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support, including managing correspondence, scheduling meetings, and organizing files.
  • Oversee daily office operations to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow, including maintaining office supplies and equipment.
  • Act as the central point of contact for internal and external communications, ensuring timely and accurate information flow.
  • Coordinate office events, meetings, and conferences, including logistics, catering, and venue arrangements.
  • Maintain office records, databases, and filing systems, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Provide assistance and coordination of maintenance and service requests for the building.

This position is onsite five days a week at our client's Philadelphia location and is temporary. The position pays up to $21/hr based on experience.
