Our client, a mission-driven nonprofit based in Bethesda, MD, is seeking a direct-hire Foundation Relations Manager to join their development team!
The Job:
- Responsible for full-cycle grants management process; prepare proposals, track deadlines and deliverables, and prepare reports.
- Collaborate across departments to identify operational areas of need for funding.
- Conduct research to identify grant funding opportunities; build relationships with corporate and independent foundations.
- Develop and implement grant strategies to increase organizational funding.
- Support the Finance and Communications teams to ensure compliance and budget preparation, as well as reognition and deliverables for all foundational donors.
About You:
- 5+ years of full-lifecycle grants management and a bachelors degree are required.
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce (or similar CRM) are preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a keen attention to detail is required.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with current/previous and prospective foundational donors.
About the Position:
- $75K-$80K, depending on experience.
- Comprehensive benefits package and generous time off provided.
- 100% on side in Bethesda, MD.
- Availalbe for evening and weekend fundraising event support as needed.
