Our client, a fantastic mission-driven nonprofit, is seeking a direct-hire Major Gifts Coordinator to join their development team!
The Job:
- Manage full-cycle fundraising including prospecting and building, cultivating, and stewarding, relationships.
- Responsible for managing a portfolio of high-level donors and prospects.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to secure major gifts.
- Coordinate donor and prospect meetings to present proposals and make donation asks.
- Support fundraising event initiatives to help cultivate and steward major gift donors.
About You:
- 2+ years of major gifts experience and a bachelor's degree are required.
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce (or similar CRM) are preferred.
- Hands-on experience with securing major gifts and donor cultivation/stewardship is required.
- Tech savvy with an understanding of database management and donor software programs
About the Position:
* $55K-$60K, depending on experience.
* Annual increase and merit bonus eligible with a comprehensive benefits package.
* 100% on-site in Bethesda, MD
* Participation with evening and weekend fundraising activities as needed.
