Our client, an independent institution in Washington, DC, is seeking a temporary to permanent HR Specialist to support their team!
About the Job:
* Assist with payroll and timesheet support.
* Support benefits administration including, leave, health, enrollments, terminations, and answering inquiries.
* Write, revise, and perform quality control on job descriptions.
* Conduct new hire orientation, onboarding, and compensation analysis.
* Support staff and global HR team as requested.
About You:
* 5+ years of HR experience are required.
* A bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience is required.
* Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office; Experience with UKG is strongly preferred.
* Expertise in planning, organizing, prioritizing, and managing own workload effectively.
* Ability to relate effectively to others, fostering positive relationships.
About the Position:
* $30/hr-$36/hr while temporary
* $75k-$77k when permanent, DOE
* 100% on-site for the first few weeks, then 2 days/week remote.
* Office in Washington, DC.
* Metro accessible and free parking!
