Our client, an investment firm focused in the media sector, is seeking an Events Coordinator to join their NYC team. The hours are 9am-5pm and this role is in the office four days a week with one remote.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing high-profile events, conferences, and meetings
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and vendors, including negotiation of contracts and overseeing deliverables
- Develop, monitor, and manage event budgets
- Oversee logistical aspects of events, including guest experience, registration/check-in, and transportation
- Provide administrative support to the Events and Conferences team, including scheduling, document and meeting agenda preparation, and report generation.
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of event planning
- Bachelor's degree required
- Experience with Canva is a plus
- Flexibility to travel for larger events and work after hours when needed
Compensation/Benefits:
- Up to $85K base depending on experience + bonus
- 401K with match
