Accountant- Remote

We are assisting our client, a Massachusetts based technology company, with their search for an Accountant to join their team remotely. This role will be heavily focused on the payables and working closely with the Treasury team.

Responsibilities:

• Enter bills and understand GL implication of bills (recording in correct period, to correct cost center and correct GL account)
• Calculate and record accrued expenses for monthly close
• Reconcile AP for monthly close
• Prepare weekly payment run and submit to Controller to review and approve. Once approved by Controller, process bank payment files in NetSuite and submit to Sr. Accountant to upload to Bank site
• Log into Bank site to review payments submitted by Treasury to ensure payments were successfully processed and then record payment application in NetSuite
• Track vendor spend and allocated cost center budgets

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree (Accounting preferred)
• 3+ years of G/L experience
• Able to work East Coast hours
• Netsuite experience (preferred)
