Accounts Payable Clerk

Our client, a well known and respected health care organization South of Boston is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk for a long term contract. In this Accounts Payable role, job duties will be mainly entering invoices and handling vendor discrepancies within Great Plains. You will be part of a collaborative team and work in a working environment that fosters teamwork.

General Responsibilities:

• Process high volume vendor invoices into Great Plains accounting system
• Process invoices paid by employees' credit cards and complete monthly reconciliation of the company's credit card accounts.
• Communicate with vendors regarding payment schedules, credits, invoice discrepancies, disputes, and other finance-related inquiries.
• Process check and electronic payments.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience working in Great Plains Accounting system
• 2+ years relevant accounting experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with a variety of functional areas. High level of accuracy, detail-oriented, dependable, strong record-keeping, time management, organization, and problem-solving skills.
