AP SPECIALIST: DETAILS
Title: AP Specialist
Location: Nashville TN
Start Date: ASAP
Type: Contract to hire opportunity
Hours: 8am-5pm | Monday-Friday

REQUIREMENTS: AP SPECIALIST
* 1+ years of experience working in AP
* Proficient in accounting software and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
* Strong problem solving, analytical, time management and organizational skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES: AP SPECIALIST
* Perform all aspects of Accounts Payable with Multiple systems at high volume.
* Verify documentation to process payment.
* Verify incoming AP batches for accuracy, resolve any errors
* Perform data entry functions processing AP.
* Ensure policies and procedures are applied to payment processes.
* Perform research and problem solving for vendor account reconciliations
* Provide reporting to AP Manager as required
* Attach supporting documents to invoice header for research purposes
* Review, enter and process invoices and ensure accuracy of amounts and coding
* Cross train and assist other team members as needed
* Assist in the development of forms, procedures, and work instructions
* Perform a variety of accounting tasks related to the maintenance and processing of accounts payable records, invoices, and other accounts payable functions.
