Medium sized privately held corporation located in St. Louis is in search for an Assistant Controller. The ideal candidate will need a BS in Accounting, CPA or working toward CPA (will also look at candidates that are no longer currently licensed), 10 + years progressive accounting experience, 5 + years managing direct reports and solid US GAAP knowledge. Responsibilities include assisting financial team in month end close and financial statement preparation, prepare and review journal entries, establish, manage and monitor processes, and partner with all lines of business throughout the corporation. Amazing opportunity to work with a well established corporation. Salary to $145K with a solid bonus structure.
