Our client, a medical focused non-profit in Washington, DC, is seeking a temporary Audio Visual and Facilities Specialist to support their team!

About you:

• 1+ years of AV set up/break down experience is required; experience in a hospitality-related environment is preferred.
• Excellent oral/written communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 Suite and video conferencing platforms (e.g., Zoom & MS Teams).
• AVIXA CTS certification is a plus.
• Ability to be 100% on-site and handle/lift equipment & boxes up to 50lbs.

The Job:

• Assist with the set-up, operation, and break-down of audiovisual systems for events.
• Maintain AV equipment, conduct routine/preventive maintenance on all equipment/furniture, and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Manage technical deliveries of live sessions, assist facilitators with interaction/moderation, and provide instructions to participants on using tools.
• Conduct trainings via Zoom & MS teams and maintain positive relationships with clients.
• Provide support and complete additional tasks as assigned.
