Our client, a law firm in Washington, DC, is seeking a direct-hire Benefits Manager to join their team in Washington, DC!
About You:
- 5+ years of experience in the administration and management of benefit plans.
- A Bachelor's Degree is required.
- SHRM-CP and/or PHR certification is a plus.
- Must be technically competent and remain up to date with legal requirements affecting benefit programs (SCA, ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, Section 125, etc.).
- Must be able to work independently with minimal direction or supervision.
- Ability to work a hybrid schedule on-site (2x/week) in the Washington, DC office.
The Job:
- Ensure timely employee enrollments and terminations from all insurance and benefit plans.
- Ensure the timely and accurate processing of monthly billings and invoices related to benefits administration.
- Direct the effective administration of leave policies, compliance and regulatory reporting, and HR documentation management.
- Assist with auditing the 401k plan to include the company match and assist with the annual 5500 compliance requirements.
- Assist with the administration of the workers' compensation program.
- Complete additional tasks and respond to inquiries relating to the administration of benefits and retirement programs as needed.
This is a direct-hire position that offers a salary of $70K-$85K, depending on experience.
