Job Description:

One of clients is hiring both a Sr. Systems AND Sr. Networking engineer (several openings)

We are seeking a skilled Senior Systems/ Network Engineer to provide comprehensive server and systems support for our clients. This role involves a combination of on-site and remote work, offering flexibility while addressing the needs of our customers. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, detail-oriented, and adept at managing multiple projects and clients.

Responsibilities:

• Provide ongoing technical support and planning for current and future clients.
• Perform day-to-day system administration of servers and networks.
• Manage and support Microsoft 365, Azure, Exchange, Windows Server, Remote Desktop Services, and Active Directory environments.
• Oversee virtualization technologies (VMWare, Hyper-V).
• Administer storage area networks and ensure data integrity and availability.
• Work with customers on-site in the Southeast Wisconsin area, involving light travel.
• Demonstrate excellent organizational skills, multitasking abilities, and attention to detail.
• Provide outstanding communication, follow-ups, and presentation skills.
• Stay current on best practices, emerging trends, and relevant technologies.

Required Skills:

• Minimum of 7+ years of high-level systems/server support experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Azure, Exchange, Windows Server, Remote Desktop Services, and Active Directory.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMWare, Hyper-V).
• Competence in storage area networks and system administration.
• Ability to work with customers on-site and provide IT support in the Southeast Wisconsin area.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and clients.
• High level of detail orientation and project task management.
• Self-motivated and independent with a strong desire to learn and stay updated on industry trends.
• Excellent communication, follow-up, and presentation skills.

Desired Skills:

• Advanced troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proven experience creating and maintaining detailed system and project documentation.
• Familiarity with industry-standard backup solutions (Veeam or Datto).
• Knowledge of VDI solutions (Microsoft, Citrix, VMWare).
• Understanding of current cybersecurity concepts and awareness.
