Our client, a commercial real estate agency, is seeking a temporary-to-hire Commercial Assistant Property Manager to support their team in Potomac, MD!
About You:
- A Bachelor's degree is ideal.
- 2+ years of commercial real estate experience is required.
- MRI Accounting Software experience is strongly preferred; General Services Administration (GSA) experience is a plus.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Ability to be 100% on-site in Potomac, MD; open to local travel.
The Job:
- Work with tenants/vendors, resolve any vendor issues, and assist with leases/contract updates.
- Assist with yearly budgets and budget reforecast; create budget binders for owner review.
- Obtain and review bids from vendors/contractors; make recommendations for services to PM.
- Coordinate collections with delinquent tenants.
- Coordinate meetings between property manager, vendors, tenants, engineers, etc.; attend staff and tenant meetings.
- Code invoices, review monthly reports, and maintain files (forms, documents, lists, contracts, etc.).
This is a temporary-to-hire position that pays $24/hr-$29/hr when temporary and converts to a salary of $57K-$65K when made permanent (DOE). This is the perfect position for organized and proactive professionals with commercial real estate experience and excellent communication/customer service skills.
