We are working on an exclusive search with a vibrant and growing renewable energy company which provides commercial and industrial (C&I) sized customized photovolaic and energy storage solutions to its clients. They are searching for a commercial counsel with 3+ years' experience negotiating, drafting, and managing contracts coming from an electricty generation background, whether it is from renewables or traditional power. This company started within a multinational conglomerate and is backed by a global investment company. The company has completed several gigawatts of projects to date, with more under development.

This role will report to the Senior Commercial Counsel who is the primary point of contact for all contracts matters with the company. Experience with contracts in the energy space is required. This role would need to draft, negotiate, and review contracts like Land Lease Agreements, Purchase Power Agreements, EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) Agreements and other contracts which are common in the normal course of business. Experience with some of these types of contracts is preferred. This role can be fully remote, but it does have office space in New York.
