Our client, an operations company, is looking for a Compensation Analyst to join their team in the downtown area of Chicago. In this position, you will be working with the Total Rewards Director in creating an overall compensation policy that will help attract and retain company talent. This position, based on experience, pays $95k.
About You:
- Bachelor's degree required. A plus if it is in Finance, Business Administration, or Human Resources
- 3+ years of related experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
- Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP's, Chart and Graph creations)
- Excellent verbal, written, grammatical and proofreading skills
- Knowledge of FLSA, EEO and DOL regulations
Responsibilities:
- Work to renew or revise outdated job descriptions and titles, to align with the current duties of each role
- Conduct market pricing analysis on all roles (annually), to create and adjust salary ranges
- Research and interpret benchmark compensation on the external market
- Conduct analysis on incentives and provide recommendations to stakeholders
- Participate in Pay Equity/Pay Transparency data collection projects
- Research and provide guidance to stakeholders regarding current Compensation topics and Pay Equity studies
- Monitor and respond to Legal compliance related requests
