Beacon Hill Legal is looking for an experienced corporate legal assistant for the Cleveland office of a full service Ohio law firm. This is a full time direct hire position with full benefits. The working hours are 8:30 - 5:00pm. The Legal Assistant will be responsible for supporting attorneys and paralegals in the firm's transactional practice groups. Duties include but aren't limited to the following:
- Prepare correspondence, legal memoranda, agreements, pleadings, etc. in draft and final form
- Organize meetings, manage attorney calendars, and schedule travel arrangements
- E-file legal documents in state and federal courts
- Communicate with clients regarding case status
- Prepare expense reports and enter billable time
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of transactional legal administrative experience
- Proficiency with MS Office
- Strong proofreading skills and attention to detail
