Beacon Hill Staffing Group is looking for an internal Campus Recruiter to join our Corporate Recruiting team! This recruiter will be responsible for recruiting entry level hires on college campuses in their assigned region. They will work closely with all BHSG offices in their assigned region. The travel component is significant during the peak on-campus recruiting seasons, although localized to a region.
To be a successful Campus Recruiter, you must be resourceful, have strong personal initiative, and be a fantastic judge of character. It will be up to your individual discretion to identify early talent on college campuses to add to our internal teams/divisions across the country, based on the candidate's skill sets/capabilities, and overall culture addition to our teams. Our hiring managers here at Beacon Hill will rely on you not just to find strong internal candidates, but to select them from among the many individuals who will be vying to become Beacon Hill employees. An ideal candidate will have incredible enthusiasm for the staffing industry & our culture here at BHSG, in addition to the desire to be on campus interacting with students, and other facets of campus life, such as career services professionals, athletics, sales professors, and student leaders.

Location: Considering candidates local to Cleveland, Cincinnati, or Columbus

Responsibilities
- Campus Recruitment
- Recruit and manage ambassador recruitment at 10-14 colleges during the Fall and Spring semester
- Regional Travel 40-50% of the year
- Plan and coordinate job fair registration and travel
- Plan and coordinate delivery of job fair materials
- Source candidates pre fair using Handshake and LinkedIn
- Attend job fair and represent BHSG with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Prepare college fair ambassadors to attend job fair & represent BHSG
- Maximize opportunities to connect with career services and student groups on campus; ie. hosting presentations and workshops to student organizations and classes
- Plan and host happy hour events after job fairs to further connect with interested students
- Conduct on campus interviews the day after job fairs for top qualified candidates
- Follow up with qualified candidates and manage relationships through their interview process: conduct behavioral interview, submit to hiring managers, coordinate interviews, prepare for interviews, gather & provide feedback, close candidates, extend offers, and reject candidates
- Maintain relationships with candidates from interview/offer phase through to scheduled start date
- Check in with internal hires, and maintain relationships throughout their career at BHSG
- Recruit and manage ambassador recruitment at 10-14 colleges during the Fall and Spring semester
- Non-Campus Recruitment
- Recruit candidates for our entry level roles utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter, Handshake, job board ads and personal referral network
- Manage candidate interview process (see above!)
- Hiring Manager Relationships
- Maintain strong relationships with BHSG Managers to identify hiring needs, properly sell teams and offices to candidates and make the best possible matches between managers and candidates. Communicate with transparency, thoughtfulness and expertise during the interview process.
- Internal Team Communications
- Work closely with campus recruiting team to effectively problem solve, strategize, and maintain awareness of hiring needs across the country
