Customer Service
 Daily
* Receive and acknowledge customer purchase orders.
* Monitor finished goods for each customer
* Enter work orders for processing
* Assist with scheduling of work orders for production lines
* Create picklists for shipment of finished goods.
* Coordinate with shipping department for shipment of finished goods to customer.
* Complete any follow up paperwork for the customer as required. (ie. Mill certifications, customer supplied forms)

 Routinely
* Monitor raw material for each customer
o work with Material Control to monitor and expedite orders from the mill when necessary
o physically walk through the plant periodically to monitor healthiness of inventory
* Submit raw material requests if needed
* Assist with Outside Sales needs
* Regular communication with customer, concerning current needs, ongoing projects, future needs.
* Keep management informed of pertinent information received from customers
* Assist customer with any needs or questions
o Material application
o Production issues
o Quality issues
o General questions/concerns
* Forecasting of shipments
* Maintain customer part files
o Enter new parts specifications into computer

o Maintain and review existing part specifications in computer system
o Maintain current pricing in computer system
* Keep themselves informed of current market conditions (ie. AMM & Metal Center News)

 As Needed
* Receive and submit inquires from customers or potential customers to management for pricing and availability.
* Follow up with management to make sure they have all needed information to quote (ie. tolerances, skid sizes, packaging specs, delivery location, etc.) and quote will be completed in a timely manner
* Forward completed quotation to customer
* Follow up with customer on quotation and relay feedback to management.
* Make sure all required paperwork is filled out and/or current (ie. credit application, customer information form)
