Our client in Wilmington, DE is looking for a Cyber Security Engineer to join their team. This is a hybrid role with opportunity for growth.

Position Description:

• Perform security analysis of Open Source, Software as a Service (SaaS), 3rd party Commercial off the Shelf Application solutions, to determine the viability of installing them in the company's computing environment
• Assist in engineering a secure solution in accordance with the company's policies, procedures, standards, and security best practices.
• Provide technical analysis and engineering skills to investigate security issues and will work with IT associates and partners to implement enhancements to the company's infrastructure.
• Conduct threat analysis and modeling, identify, define, and document system security requirements, analyze and test the environment against the requirements, and recommend remediation for identified risks
• Make recommendations, provide solutions to internal team

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree
• 3+ years of Information Security experience
• Familiar with Security Identity concepts
• Experience developing, documentation, and/or maintaining new/existing cyber security requirements
• Experience with Firewalls, Office 365 Security, VSX, and Endpoint Security
• Experience with security engineering principles involving application security, security testing, computer security and other areas of Information Assurance.
• Familiar with cloud security concepts (Azure is preferred but not required)

Bonus Skills:

• Certifications such as Security +, CEH, CISSP
• Banking/financial industry experience
