Beacon Hill Legal Staffing is seeking a Senior Paralegal experienced transactions paralegal to provide support for our Digital and Information Technology (IT) business units that support our clients network infrastructure and develop and deliver our clients innovative products and services. These business units oversee our clients information technology systems, wireless network, website, mobile apps, rewards programs, digital wallet, and its delivery services. The attorney team supporting these business units is small but manages high volumes of work with fast-moving timelines. The team is dedicated to providing fast, efficient, and top-notch services to its internal business clients. This paralegal will be an essential resource for the team to more effectively and efficiently manage its workflow, and better enable the team's ability to deliver the highest quality legal services to our business partners.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in reviewing, drafting and negotiating a wide range of custom and standard contracts and other legal documents in close collaboration with attorneys, clients and other legal and business specialists, examples include non-disclosure agreements, statements of work, change orders, contract amendments, contract renewals, product supply and accessories agreements, and software license and services agreements;
  • Working directly with attorneys, Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, business owners and legal specialists to analyze contracts and legal risks;
  • Extensive collaboration with attorneys and other legal professionals, privacy specialists, litigation attorneys, senior level clients and others across our clients;
  • Working under the supervision of supervising attorneys, and exercising independent judgment in escalating issues within broadly defined practices and policies; and
  • Working with contract managers, document management systems and invoicing systems.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS preferred.
  • 5 years relevant work experience.
  • Knowledge of contract law is imperative. Knowledge of technology-focused agreements, software licensing and privacy law are pluses.
  • Experience and high degree of skill drafting, reviewing and evaluating technology contracts.
  • Highly detail-oriented, organized, self-directed and motivated.
  • Able to manage high-volume, quick turn-time documents and to manage multiple and changing priorities from multiple sources.
  • Very strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.
