Job Summary
Will generate Conceptual and Logical Data Models using SAP Power-Designer and ERWIN and walk the models through business Users to ensure all the Entities and attributes are captured. Conduct SQL data analytics using MS SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) across different projects with diverse scope, sophisticated business and technical requirements in a multi-platform and highly coordinated data environment. Create Physical Data Models in SAP Power-Designer and ERWIN from the verified Logical Data Models and generate artifacts in the form of DDLs (Data Definition Language) scripts to define all the database objects like Tables, Schemas, Views, Functions and Procedures. Acquire data from multiple data sources to analyze, research the complex datasets and do gap analysis, data mining, and profiling to interpret trends or patterns using T-SQL and PL/SQL. Identify and determine the various business rules and transformations to be incorporated in the ETL Informatica workloads or Visualization Reports. Handover the artifacts to the DBAs for deployment using DevOps/Git (CICD), of the Databases and objects required for the projects and discuss addressing the operational and optimization issues if any. Assist the Application developers, data engineers and data scientist teams to be able to create and run their ETL, Analytics and ML workloads using SSIS/Informatica/Data Pipelines, R/Python and MLflow. Create mapping specification documents that defines the data transformation rules mapping from source to target data based on the Physical Database model designed and building a data dictionary to onboard, identify, and process data sources utilizing SQL, MS Excel, and ETL. Use Reltio MDM for Identity Resolution, Data Quality, Data Lineage, Dynamic Survivorship for contextual profiles, Universal ID across all operational applications, Hierarchies, Connected Graph to manage relationships, Progressive Stitching to create richer profiles over time, and Data Governance and security. Position requires up to 100% domestic travel. This position is for full-time, salaried (w-2), permanent employment. REQUIREMENTS: Master’s Degree or foreign equivalent education in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or a closely related field and 3 years of experience in the Software Industry.
