Our client, focused on building a high-performing, next generation school, is seeking a Director of Development Fundraising to add to their team in NYC. Hours are 9am-5pm with flexibility for overtime as needed. They are on a hybrid schedule of 3 days in office and 2 days work from home, though there will be flexibility for onsite meetings. This candidate will ideally have an interest in education and be an incredible written and oral communicator.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, execute and evaluate the annual fundraising strategy and initiatives
• Plan fundraising and other special events, including sourcing and managing vendors
• Communicate with donors and board members, and answer inquiries in a timely fashion
• Create pitch materials with special attention to tailoring messaging for audiences
• Support the Director of Strategic Impact and CEO

Qualifications:

• Up to 5-7+ years of experience
• Fundraising, business development or strategic partnership background preferred
• Must be a go-getter, flexible, creative and have a positive mindset
