Our client, an association in the financial industry, is looking for a Director of Public Affairs to join their team in Washington, DC!
About You:
- A bachelor's degree is required for this role.
- 6+ years of Public Affairs experience in the financial or banking industry is required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable serving as the organization's spokesperson.
- Strong media relationships preferred.
The Job:
- Draft and disseminate press releases.
- Serve as the association's spokesperson for on and off camera campaigns.
- Develop and maintain media and industry relationships.
- Provide strategic guidance on content development.
- Prepare and pitch news and industry updates to a variety of outlets.
- Manage and support additional special projects.
