Litigation Paralegal
A distinguished law firm located in Philadelphia specializing in litigation is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Trial Prep: Help attorneys prepare for trial and travel to support attorneys in court.
- Legal Research: Use software and the internet to effectively do research cases. Experience with cite-checking and blue booking highly preferred.
- Document Management: Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and reports with precision and attention to detail.
- Calendar Management: Manage attorney calendars, schedule appointments, and keep everyone organized.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with our legal staff to maintain a seamless workflow and deliver exceptional client service.
- Record Keeping: Organize and maintain case files and client records to keep information readily accessible.
- Technology: Utilize legal software and tools to stay organized and enhance efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous llitigation paraegal experience of 4+ years is preferred. E-filing experience required. Bachelors Degree required. Paralegal Certificate is a plus.
- Tech Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Relativity, and Westlaw are essential.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulously spot and correct errors in documents.
- Multitasking: Comfortably manage multiple tasks while maintaining composure under pressure.
- Commitment: Thrive in a collaborative, professional environment.
