Our client is a Boston-based hospital seeking an Executive Assistant to support their VP of Development. This is a 3 months + contract role with permanent potential into the mid 70s-low 80s for a salary. Core hours comprise a Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:30pm schedule, and the role pays up to 35/hr depending on candidate experience.
This Executive Assistant will be responsible for:
- Assisting the Vice President of Development & Campaign in managing administrative operations as required of the hospital's trust.
- Performing and at times overseeing various donor related and administrative functions requiring in‑depth knowledge of departmental programs and services.
- Overseeing calendar management for the VP, using sound judgement and prioritization skills in scheduling appointments and meetings.
- Monitoring budgets and schedules, maintaining office record keeping systems, donor stewardship and planning and organizing departmental meetings, conferences and seminars.
- Organizing and supervising provision of administrative and operational support services when necessary or on project basis.
- Planning and organizing work to comply with established priorities and deadlines.
- Using tact and discretion in obtaining and relaying confidential and/or sensitive information.
To qualify, you must have:
- Associate's degree and a minimum of three years' related experience.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a highly complex and changing environment.
- Effective oral and written communication skills and the ability to provide empathy in difficult interpersonal situations.
