Senior Accountant

Rapidly growing biotech in Malvern area is looking to bring on a Senior Accountant to their Accounting Department. This is an opportunity to work cross functionally within Accounting and FP&A with an excellent boss that is a proven mentor and developer.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Monitor general ledger activity, ensuring entries are accurate and consistent, financial accounts are reconciled, and outstanding issues resolved on a timely basis to minimize financial errors.
• Supporting monthly closings by preparing journal entries, analyzing, and reconciling balance sheet accounts.
• Perform and document internal controls over financial close and financial reporting.
• Assist in month-end preparation of financial reporting packages for management and lenders.
• Assist with preparation of monthly financial statements for all companies accurately and well documented.
• Provide financial analysis to support business transactions and processes.
• Analyze general ledger accounts and resolve issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, Accounting and CPA preferred.
• Public accounting experience a plus.
• 3+ years of experience.
• Microsoft Office skills.
